Istanbul – On Friday, new wildfires were broken on the Mediterranean coast of Türkiye, as the government declared two western provinces in the country as disaster.

The images showed flames and smoke in the sky close to high -rise apartment buildings in Antalya, where the local and foreign visits during the summer months come into the herd.

The houses were evacuated at the city center and in the outer district of Aksu, as the fire is advanced, private -owned news agency DHA. The firefighters struggled to extinguish the blaze before spreading strong winds, which closed a major coastal road.

Along with the coast, houses were also threatened in the city of Mangat.

Local residents along with hoses and buckets participated to help firefighters as helicopters and aircraft that released water were also struggling with flames. Police water cannons and municipal water trucks were also listed in fire efforts.

Antalya village. Hulusi Sahin said that the fire was under control in Aksu in addition to one, which was “showing a tendency to grow,” and the other in Gazipasa in the east.

“The fire was really upset and dangerous, as they were in the centers of the city, between the houses,” he said. “We emptied some of our houses … there are no deaths or injuries.”

Meanwhile, internal minister Ali Yralikaya said on Friday that Izmi and Billiceic provinces were declared “disaster -affecting public life”, one step below the most severe level of emergency.

Between June 27 and Thursday, 120 neighborhood residents were evacuated across the country, Jeolikaya said, and under the right of the ministry, more than 12,000 workers, such as police and rescue employees, fought the fire.

In a social media post, the minister said that 311 houses were destroyed or severely damaged during the month’s blaze and 85 temporary housing units were installed in three western provinces for those.

Speaking after Friday’s prayer, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey “really faced a big disaster.” He said that 25,000 personnel across the country were fighting fire, aided by 27 aircraft, 105 helicopters and 6,000 ground vehicles.

Turkey has faced widespread outbreaks of wildfire since late June. Thirteen people have died, in which 10 rescue volunteers and forestry workers were killed in a fire on Wednesday in Escheesihir, western Turkey. The funeral for 10 was on Thursday.

The temperature above seasonal criteria has been extended by strong winds and dry conditions, resulting in dozens of wildfires.

In the east of Antalya, there was a fire in Adana and Mercin on Friday. Somewhere else in the country, firefighters struggled with Blaze in Ecisir and nearby Karabuk, which have been furious for several days.

The summer wave in the eastern Mediterranean region saw 1,000 fire fighters and soldiers fight flames in Albania as the temperature reached 42C (107F).

In Albanian city of Albasan, firefighting central mountains are combating for a week in the country’s central mountain forests. Along with Greece, there is also a fire near the southern border.
