Angel City Sports Director Mark Parsons said that the new players earned a contract as they used to combine with vision for the future of the club: victory.
Parsons said, “Who are the players we believe where we are going and when we are fighting for the trophy, Angel can play for the city,” Parsons said, Angel City leaders mentioned the question before signing any new players.
While the new players present a infusion of fresh talent, Angel City is also benefiting from the return of an familiar face.
Forward June Endo, who tore his ACL in February 2024, played for the first time in 18 months during a friendly against Bay FC. The endo was on the pitch for 30 minutes and scored the only goal of the game.
Team coach Strauss said, “If you are missing a player like June Endo, because Angel City is missing him, it definitely impresses it (game) because you can’t replace that kind of player,” said team coach Strauss.

“We will be good now, but we will be better in January.”
